Members of the United Auto Workers Local 1112 union made a stop at Warren City Schools on Monday, Dec. 15, 2025, to drop off enough toys to make the season a little brighter for 20 district families.
Sonja Woods, co-chair of the union’s community service committee, said Local 1112 is focused on what its members can do to help the community through the holiday season.
Union members dropped by the WCS’ Student Recreation and Wellness Center with several bags and boxes filled with gifts that will be distributed to students and their families in Warren’s schools. The union worked with the school district’s school-community liaisons to identify families to receive the gifts.
