The Warren City School District kicked off the 2026-2027 school year on Monday, Aug. 24, with what has now become a longstanding tradition: Greeting students at the door.
District staff – including teachers and administrators – and community leaders and volunteers met students at the school doors to encourage them, with some saying, “Have a great first day and a great year!”
Students were greeted with handshakes and high fives as community members rallied to show WCS students their support.
