Ms. Allen’s Raider Day Seniors recently helped Ms. Hernandez’s preschool class with holiday crafts as the first part of an ongoing senior-preschool program for collaborative craft time.
The effort allows for district’s newest pupils to connect with older students.
The collaboration is also benefiting the seniors as they work through a Senior Service Initiative started this school year to serve the community through partnership and philanthropy.
The students will be working together on other holiday crafts throughout the remainder of the school year.
