Please review the academic information/updates from Superintendent Steve Chiaro, Associate Superintendent Wendy Hartzell and WGH Principal Dante Capers. WCS to resume academic lessons for students, K-12, next week
WCS distributing grab ‘n go lunches for students
WARREN – Warren City Schools is providing grab and go lunches for all district students at all of our five school buildings from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and several off-campus sites weekdays from Noon to 1 p.m. through the duration of the mandated statewide K-12 school closing.
To benefit from this program, students are asked to go the school building closest to where they live between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., regardless of where they are enrolled.
If the student is not within walking distance of the school, they may visit one of several off-campus/remote sites where grab and go lunches are being distributed from Noon to 1 p.m. A clearly marked Warren City Schools vehicle will be at each site to help identify it as a meal distribution location.
Families and community members with questions or concerns may call Warren City Schools Food Service Department at 330-841-2321.

Coronavirus Information
In Warren City Schools we are continuing to provide your child’s education in a clean and sanitized environment. We have taken additional time and effort to disinfect common areas frequently visited by students.
Our nurses from Akron Children’s hospital are working to encourage and teach our students the importance and proper way to wash their hands as recommended by health officials, which experts say is the best precaution to take in preventing the spread of germs.
We have provided additional resources below.
