The Kindergarten students got a special surprise today, May 16th, when the Barn Yard petting zoo came and set up in the back parking lot. Mrs. Vennetti’s kindergarten class is pictured below enjoying the many baby animals that were brought. The petting zoo included a baby cow, baby alpaca, ducks, rabbits, baby lamb, baby goats and a big box turtle. They all got a chance to pet the many animals. Giving Appreciation with chalk!!!

Lincoln PK-8 students used chalk to draw on the sidewalks during teacher appreciation week to leave messages of thanks to their teachers.

Students drew colorful pictures and expressions of gratitude such as “thank you” and “you’re the best” on the sidewalks that circle the entire building.

This initiative was just one example of how Lincoln PK8 school administrators and its students took time out to express their gratitude for the Lincoln teachers.
