Warren City Schools, 21st Century Community Learning Centers

The Warren City Schools is pleased to provide two 21st Century Community Learning Centers at the Jefferson PK-8 and the Willard PK-8 Schools for our 6th-8th grade students. These centers were established in 2012 from an U.S. Department of Education Grant  and will continue until 2017. These centers run four (4) days of week from October-May and offer students academic assistance in Language Arts and Mathematics under the direction of certified teachers.  Recreational/artistic/social emotional/musical classes from local community based organizations are offered daily . Several of our Community Partners are: Warren Police Athletic League, Ohio State University Extension, Chess is Life, Junior Achievement, Marcus Garvey Tennis Association, Warren Soccer, and the Warren Philharmonic.
