The third nine-weeks ends March 13, 2020. Did you earn a 3.2 or above this third nine-weeks? If the answer is “yes” then its time to get rewarded for all of your hard work! Click HERE to fill out an application for your 4th Renaissance Card of the school year reflecting your 3rd nine-weeks report card.

Congratulations to the Lady Raiders Basketball Team and Coaches on their victory against the Canfield Cardinals at the OHSAA District Semi-Finals in Ravenna on Tuesday, February 25, 2020. They will now advance to the OHSAA District Finals against Stow-Monroe Falls tonight, February 28, 2020 at 7:00PM, again at Ravenna High School.

Resister to Vote!
On February 14, 2020 AP Government classes from W.G.H. spent the lunch periods running a voter registration drive. This activity was for their civic engagement project with teacher Eric Ensley.

Success is not an Accident
Students at Warren G. Harding High School were treated to an assembly on February 5th, 2020 to celebrate their participation in the school’s Renaissance in Education program. Honored students have obtained a 3.2 or higher G.P.A. during one of the first semester’s grading periods.
During the assembly Associate Superintendent Wendy Hartzell and Principal Dante Capers gave the students words of congratulations and encouragement. Senior Class president Precious Ball introduced featured speaker Alfie Burch who reminded the students that “success is not an accident.” At the end students enjoyed refreshments and conversations with their peers.

Parent/Teacher conferences in February
Parent/Teacher conferences will be held at Warren G. Harding High School on February 4 and 6, 2020 from 4:00 PM through 7:00 PM. You may click Here to sign up for a conference with your student’s teacher.

Warren Tribune Chronicle Honors 20 Area Youth.
Congratulations! The 2019 Tribune Chronicle 20/20 Awards banquet honored 20 area youth including Warren G. Harding Seniors Xavier Allen, Cullen Faulk, and Elyssa Hawkins. The 20/20 Award was started 7 years ago by the Warren Tribune Chronicle to publicly recognize the hard work and commitment to community demonstrated by youth in the area.







WCS Musicians Shine!
On Saturday, November 9th, 18 students from all five WCS buildings
participated in the Ohio Music Educators Association District 5 Honors Band
event held at Stambaugh Auditorium. These students were selected by their
band director to represent Warren City Schools as part of the Middle School
Honors Band and High School Honors Band. Congratulations on an
outstanding performance!
