On February 14, 2020 AP Government classes from W.G.H. spent the lunch periods running a voter registration drive. This activity was for their civic engagement project with teacher Eric Ensley.

Students at Warren G. Harding High School were treated to an assembly on February 5th, 2020 to celebrate their participation in the school’s Renaissance in Education program. Honored students have obtained a 3.2 or higher G.P.A. during one of the first semester’s grading periods.
During the assembly Associate Superintendent Wendy Hartzell and Principal Dante Capers gave the students words of congratulations and encouragement. Senior Class president Precious Ball introduced featured speaker Alfie Burch who reminded the students that “success is not an accident.” At the end students enjoyed refreshments and conversations with their peers.
