
March Lunch Menu


The second graders, under the direction of Mr. McCarty, sang songs to celebrate Black History Month.
Various students read information about the songs and their origins.
The program started off with the Star Spangled banner and included songs: Che Che Koolay, Three Little Birds and Sing about Martin.




Let it GLOW!
Students in grades PK-2 are invited to attend a glow dance with a special adult on March 1st from 5:30-7PM.
The cost is $2 per ticket and only cash is being accepted. Please try and send the correct amount.
Please RSVP to your student’s teacher by February 23rd. Tickets will be sent home with student and information about pictures.
Tickets include admission, cookies, and beverage, please dress accordingly with our “Let it Glow” theme.
Students in grades K-2 that displayed “effective behavior” were invited to a cookie decorating class in the cafeteria.
Keep up the effective behaviors.







Parent Teacher Conferences were held on February 6th, families were invited to have a delicious cup of chicken noodle soup from Mocha House in the cafeteria.

Mrs. Newbrough’s 8th grade class made caricatures of influential black artists in a celebration for Black History month.
