1st and 2nd Grade Students Who Use Devices at Home
Congratulations! You have checked out a school device, OR you are working on your homework on another device at home! Because of your hard work, you have earned a wireless mouse to take home. This will help you point and click. It is yours to keep forever, and you do not need to return it.
I have posted an “unboxing” video on our McGuffey PK-8 Family Facebook Page, and on our website. Please watch it if you have any questions about how to set it up. There are also directions included in the box.

K-2 Holiday Program at McGuffey
Please join us at McGuffey PK-8 School on
December 13, 2023 at 1:45 for a holiday
program featuring our K, 1, and 2
students. Your children are very excited
to sing for you! Your child will probably
ask to dress up and look their best that
day, which we encourage, but there is no
special clothing required. Let’s get into
the holiday spirit as we support our K, 1,
and 2 students!
McGuffey PK-8 Movie Night
Please join us on Wednesday, November 29th for
Movie Night at McGuffey School. The movie will
begin at 6:00pm. Doors will open at 5:45pm. Movie
Night is open to all McGuffey students, but students
must be accompanied by their own parent or guardian.
The featured movie is The Polar Express, so come
dressed in your pajamas! You’ll also need to bring a
blanket for your family to use to sit on during the
movie (limited chairs will also be available).
One of our student groups will have concessions
available for purchase before the movie.
Veterans Day-Honoring all Veterans
In honor of Veterans Day, McGuffey PK-8 School would like to display
pictures of the Veterans that we love. This could be a family member,
neighbor and friend!
We are asking that you bring in or send in a picture of a Veteran that
you know. Please include their name and branch of military service.
You may email a picture to tia.phillips@warrencityschools.org or
send in a copy of the photo with your student to school
before November 3rd.
McGuffey will also have our own Veterans Day Parade on
November 10th. Our McGuffey Family Veterans may join us for this
parade around our school. Please come out and be celebrated by our
students and staff! We will be serving light refreshments at 9:00
a.m., with the program to follow after. Please R.S.V.P. by emailing the
