Our McGuffey 6th graders recently visited the Warren City Schools Student Recreation and Wellness Center, where they participated in several fun and educational activities focused on reasoning and math skills. Students explored hands-on challenges such as designing paper airplanes and measuring the distances they traveled, as well as calculating how long different domino trail patterns took to fall. The trip was a great opportunity for students to learn through interactive experiences, and everyone had a fantastic time discovering new concepts in a fun environment!
Last Day of School- Thursday, May 28th
The last day of school for students at McGuffey PK-8 School is Thursday, May 28th.
This is an Early Release Day and students will be dismissed at 1:10pm.
Just a reminder, no backpacks are permitted at school from May 26th to 28th.
Memorial Day – No School Monday, May 25th
There will be no school at McGuffey PK-8 School, or any of the WCS Schools, on Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 26th.
