Several of our McGuffey students are members of Cheer Image Iconz Recreation Program. This cheer program was established in 2007 and is owned by one of our McGuffey parents, Mrs. Hudson. They are a competitive performance recreation team that has won numerous national titles over the last 15 years. So far this season, they have competed in Erie, PA, Cleveland, OH, Louisville, KY and Buffalo, NY. All eight athletes in the Youth Level 1 team, Princess Reign, attend McGuffey. They recently competed in Buffalo, NY at the Queens City National Championship and placed 1st in their division and also won Best Tumbling out of the 21 teams in their session. Athletes are: A‘Nylah Dorsey, Senaija Smith, Harmony Engram, BryAnn Logan, Araelyn Washington, Norah Foster, Mi’Onna Williams, and Amirah Hudson.
