Peer Mediator Graduation Our fourth and fifth grade peer mediators were selected by their classmates through a voting process in the fall. The selected students then spent many lunch periods training. This included learning steps of the process and practicing mock mediations. Once training was completed, thirteen students participated in a graduation ceremony on February 13. These students presented a mock mediation and explained the process to have a mediation during lunch to both the fourth and fifth grade students and family members. Family members and peer mediators enjoy a brief reception following the graduation. Our fourth and fifth grade peer mediators were selected by their classmates through a voting process in the fall.
