Third Grade Plays Bingo

Third graders earned a bingo game as part of a Friday incentive recently. Students played several games and earned fun prizes.

Second Graders Win Sweet Prize

Second graders won a sweet treat for their efforts in completing an IXL challenge. The following students pictured completed more IXL math lessons than other students in their grade level. Congrats to the winners!

Grades 3-5 Honor Roll for the Second Nine Weeks

Jefferson Students Visit Sensory Room at The Student Recreation and Wellness Center

Students in Mrs. Battista’s class recently visited the sensory room located at the student recreation and wellness center. Students enjoyed their time and will return monthly to the SRWC.

Second Nine Weeks Honor Roll

Third Grade Receives Dictionaries

Thanks to our local Rotary, every third grade student at Jefferson received a dictionary to keep. Representatives visited each classroom and distributed the dictionaries to smiling students.

Presidents’ Day- No School

There will not be school for Warren City School students on Monday, February 16 because of Presidents’ Day. Students will return to class Tuesday, February 17.

Basketball Pep Rally

Jefferson 6-8 students celebrated our basketball teams with a pep rally. Students were introduced to the players; they listened to our band led by Miss Mamich. Our cheerleaders performed a couple of cheers, students played games, and they also listened to Coach Carter speak about the players and their season.

Cavs Academy

The Cavs Academy returned to Jefferson this January with a program for grades 3-5. Students got to meet and listen to representatives for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Students and staff also joined in for some fun basketball activities. After the program, students were rewarded with some Cavs gear.
