The month of October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Friday, the 20th we held our Pink Day. Staff and students dressed in as much pink as possible and were judged on who wore the most pink. A big thank you goes out to Mayor Doug Franklin, Pastor Todd Johnson and State Representative Michael O’Brien who were kind enough to judge the staff participating in the contest. Congratulations to Mr. Joseph and to all of the students winners.
On November 17, 2017, McGuffey’s 5th graders will take a trip to see Ballet Western Reserve’s Fall Production.
McGuffey’s 3rd grade students will be off to see the Warren Philharmonic Orchestra’s Fall Concert on Thursday, November 17, 2017.
Our first day of school was filled with excitement thanks to United Way for organizing the 100 Man welcoming committee to our building! Thank you to the men of Warren, we so appreciate you taking time to show the youth of McGuffey that you care about them and their education.
On August 18, 2017, McGuffey administrators and staff welcomed all students are their families back to school with a carnival. It was a beautiful day filled with food, prizes and laughter! What a way to start the year!
