Before winter break students who qualified for the PBIS event had a blast participating in activities throughout the school. The events included watching a Christmas movie and eating popcorn, painting ornaments made by our woodshop class, rocking out with an Undercover Juicebox featuring three amazing teachers, Mr. Whitacre, Mr. Ensley, and Mr. Rising, and last but not least open gym. Students finally got a break from academics and had a moment to relax and have fun. The event lasted from second period to fifth period and was open to all students who showcased excellent attendance, grades, and behavior over the course of the second quarter. The PBIS team is working on similar events for the remaining quarters. Overall, the event ran smoothly and was the perfect way to end the first semester.
