Student Lead Wellness

Members of the WGH National Honor Society saw a need in our school and took it upon themselves to address it. With the rash of violence that has affected students in our school, and across the country, these students created an assembly addressing Wellness. They researched mental health and wellness, surveyed the student population, created a PowerPoint, provided examples, resources and activities, and informed their fellow students that Wellness is important and that THEY are important!

Congratulations to Zipporah Ball, Kerrigan Riley, Madison Hazy, Chloe Williams, and Jovana Pirivatric for seeing a need in their community and having the confidence to address it.

Prom 2022: A Night in Disguise

Prom Walkthrough at WGH was followed by a Midnight Masquerade at St. Demetrios Banquet Hall on Saturday, May 21st. A sit-down dinner was served and dancing was to follow when a storm hit and the electricity went out! The DJ will be returning to WGH to spin some tunes for our Seniors during their Senior Picnic this week! Thank you to Kim Leigh and Dawn Harper for all of their work putting together a Night in Disguise: Prom 2022.

Field Day Fun!

Students at WGH were rewarded for good choices with an afternoon of fun at the annual Field Day Event hosted by the WGH PBIS team. Students could participate in a number of field games like volleyball, tug-o-war, corn hole, and soccer, as well as board games, card games, and Bingo. Some students took the time to hang out with their friends or make new friends. And all enjoyed the food: Hotdogs, popcorn, Little Debbies, and Hawaiian Ice from the Kona Ice Truck!

Congratulations Dr. Ulicny!

WGH Seniors are not the only ones graduating here at Warren G. Harding. Ms. Janis Ulicny, Assistant Principal, added “Doctor” to her title when she completed a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership from Youngstown State University. Are the students and staff excited about her amazing accomplishment? Yes! Just look at the photos from the “Clap-out” given to her the weekend of Her Graduation!
