Book Fair Returns to Jefferson

It is book fair time at Jefferson! We will be hosting our fair Monday Ja. 24-28 in the library. We are also open during parent-teacher conferences from 4:30-7:30. Stop in and see us after your scheduled conference time!

Please put your child’s money in an envelope with their name on it to make shopping easier. You can also take advantage of the e-wallet option available on our book fair website listed below. (This allows you to load funds electronically so your child does not need to bring cash to school.)

Creative Letter Practice in Kindergarten

Students in kindergarten work hard to practice their letters and have fun at the same time! Students practice writing their letters using shaving cream as well as paint in bags.

Fourth Grade Landform Project

Students in fourth grade learned about landforms recently in their social studies class. As a final activity, students created a landform of their choice. Students were then able to observe their classmate’s projects and write down their findings.

Snowflake Ball

Students in grades 3-5 were rewarded with a snowflake ball here at Jefferson before the winter break. Students earned points throughout the month of December by having great behavior, completing work, and attending school. Students not only got to attend the ball where they could dress up but they also got to use their points to choose treats to take with them afterwards. Fifth graders also crowned a king and queen of the snowflake ball based on winning a writing contest.
