Jefferson Students Perform with Harding Marching Band

Three of our Jefferson students had the opportunity to perform with the Harding Marching Band as part of their mini majorette program for their annual band night. Students attended the rehearsals, learning baton routines and dances that the Harding majorettes perform during pregame. Our students did a wonderful job representing Jefferson and had a lot of fun!

Kindergarten Students Practice Phonics Skills

Students in Mrs. Rhodes’ kindergarten class spent their phonics time focusing on the letter ‘M’. Students did a great job writing, as well as identifying items that start with the letter. Students were all smiles as they showed off their hard work.

Technology Class

Students at Jefferson each take a technology class in which they learn useful and practical computer skills that benefit them in many aspects of life. One notable skill that every student learns is typing. Here you can see several students working hard on accuracy and speed of typing.

First Grade Math Skills

First graders in Mrs. Haswell’s class work together each day on their math skills, using a number of fun manipulatives and visuals. Students were definitely having a good time while learning important skills that will carry them through first grade math.

Attendance Reward

Students are rewarded at Jefferson for having perfect attendance for the week. The happy fourth grade students pictured here enjoyed donuts and got to choose their own sticker.

Bus Safety Program

Elementary students at Jefferson were treated to a bus safety program led by the hard working bus drivers of Warren City Schools. Students took a tour of the buses, then boarded the buses and listened to a bus driver explain the rules and expectations for riding on a bus.
