Read Across America
Students in grades K-2 were treated to some special guest readers on Friday, February 28th in honor of Read Across America. Guests read a book to the students, gave them pencils and spoke to them about reading. We would like to thank each of our guests for taking time to visit the school and be part of our program.
Pancake Incentive
Students at Jefferson were treated to a special pancake incentive as a reward for great behavior during the month of February. Each month students have been working toward fun and exciting reward time for their hard work and dedication to making Jefferson a great place to learn. Congratulations to all the students who earned their pancakes!
Reading Buddies
Recently our Jefferson Second graders visited an Eighth grade class for a special reading buddies session. Second graders brought their reading bins and shared time showing off their great reading skills to our Eighth graders. They then ended their time with a dance party. Our Eighth graders were great role models for our Second graders, showing kindness and patience. A fun time was had by everyone. A special thank you goes out to Mrs. Gabrick for organizing this great special time.
