McGuffey’s 2nd Annual Back to School Carnival

On Friday, August 17, 2018 McGuffey Principals and teachers hosted the 2nd Annual Back to School Carnival.  Students were able to see their teachers from last year and explore the Warren City Fire Department’s fire truck.  Slide on the giant blow-up slide and receive a new book to start the school year with.  What a fun afternoon enjoyed by everyone.

8th Grade Washington, DC Trip

On May 16, 2018, the 8th graders of McGuffey traveled to battlefields of Gettysburg in Pennsylvania and then on to our Nations capitol in Washington, DC.  They had a great time exploring the sights, even though it rained all three days.

Dennis Drummond Visits McGuffey

McGuffey welcomed Warren’s own musical talent, Dennis Drummond!  Dennis spoke to the students about his time growing up in Warren, his passion for music and being on the voice.  The students enjoyed their time with him.  We are so proud of Dennis!
