Each week kindergarten students who have perfect attendance are treated to lunch with their teachers. Students get time to visit together and enjoy a fun video while they eat their lunch.

There are no classes for Warren City School students on Wednesday, October 2 due to a waiver day. Students will return on Thursday October 3.
Three of our Jefferson students had the opportunity to perform with the Harding Marching Band as part of their mini majorette program for their annual band night. Students attended the rehearsals, learning baton routines and dances that the Harding majorettes perform during pregame. Our students did a wonderful job representing Jefferson and had a lot of fun!
Students in Mrs. Rhodes’ kindergarten class spent their phonics time focusing on the letter ‘M’. Students did a great job writing, as well as identifying items that start with the letter. Students were all smiles as they showed off their hard work.

Students at Jefferson each take a technology class in which they learn useful and practical computer skills that benefit them in many aspects of life. One notable skill that every student learns is typing. Here you can see several students working hard on accuracy and speed of typing.
First graders in Mrs. Haswell’s class work together each day on their math skills, using a number of fun manipulatives and visuals. Students were definitely having a good time while learning important skills that will carry them through first grade math.
Students are rewarded at Jefferson for having perfect attendance for the week. The happy fourth grade students pictured here enjoyed donuts and got to choose their own sticker.
Elementary students at Jefferson were treated to a bus safety program led by the hard working bus drivers of Warren City Schools. Students took a tour of the buses, then boarded the buses and listened to a bus driver explain the rules and expectations for riding on a bus.
Students were welcomed back the ‘J’ this past week and we’ve hit the ground running with routines, expectations, and diving into meaningful lessons. We’re looking forward to a great year at Jefferson.
