Jefferson 6-8 students celebrated our basketball teams with a pep rally. Students were introduced to the players; they listened to our band led by Miss Mamich. Our cheerleaders performed a couple of cheers, students played games, and they also listened to Coach Carter speak about the players and their season.
The Cavs Academy returned to Jefferson this January with a program for grades 3-5. Students got to meet and listen to representatives for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Students and staff also joined in for some fun basketball activities. After the program, students were rewarded with some Cavs gear.
Ms. McMenamin’s first grade class was rewarded for having thirty-five days of perfect attendance so far this year. Each student got to choose their favorite fidget toy. Keep up the great work!

Attendance heroes at Jefferson are students who have 95%, or higher, attendance and have less than two tardies. Attendance heroes from the second nine weeks were rewarded with a treat; students had the chance to build their own ice cream sundae!
Mrs. Lasher’s third grade class celebrated fifty days of perfect attendance with a party and cake. Keep up the great work!
There are no classes for Warren City School students on Monday, January 19 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr day. Students will return Tuesday, January 20.
