McGuffey Middle School students proudly brought home the silver medal from the inaugural Warren City Schools Middle School Olympics competition held at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center.
Congratulations to Coach Scott, Coach Trill, and all of the students for their hard work, participation, and outstanding achievement in earning medals at the competition.
Our McGuffey 8th graders are ready to begin the next chapter of their journey at Warren G. Harding High School! To celebrate this exciting milestone, students enjoyed a special breakfast this week where they had the opportunity to spend time with friends and teachers while reflecting on the many memories, accomplishments, and successes they have shared at McGuffey Schools.
The following 8th grade students have proudly attended McGuffey School from kindergarten through 8th grade: Tyler Johnson, LeAnna Whisonant, Faith Pressell, Olivia Lewis, Savanna Cassidy, Ty’Ree Brown, Cameron Colbert, Bradyn Powell, Kason Liebal, Ma’Luan Huson, Lorenzo Johnson, and Deon Stubbs.

Our McGuffey 6th graders recently visited the Warren City Schools Student Recreation and Wellness Center, where they participated in several fun and educational activities focused on reasoning and math skills. Students explored hands-on challenges such as designing paper airplanes and measuring the distances they traveled, as well as calculating how long different domino trail patterns took to fall. The trip was a great opportunity for students to learn through interactive experiences, and everyone had a fantastic time discovering new concepts in a fun environment!
The last day of school for students at McGuffey PK-8 School is Thursday, May 28th.
This is an Early Release Day and students will be dismissed at 1:10pm.
Just a reminder, no backpacks are permitted at school from May 26th to 28th.
There will be no school at McGuffey PK-8 School, or any of the WCS Schools, on Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day. Classes resume on Tuesday, May 26th.
