Teachers at Jefferson dressed in teal in support of ovarian cancer.
Our preschool classes at Jefferson recently completed a service project. Classes created artwork that was then donated in honor of veterans at a local nursing home. A representative from the nursing home visited each class and thanked the students for their beautiful artwork.
Jefferson second and third grade students performed a concert in honor of Veterans Day. They were led by music teachers, Miss Mamich and Miss Ritcher. Our students did a wonderful job singing and reciting poems in honor of our Veterans.
During the week of Halloween, Jefferson hosted its annual Trunk or Treat. Staff members, Second Baptist Church, as well as community members all contributed to making this event a huge success. Each year the turnout gets bigger and bigger! We would like to give a special thank you to Mrs. Vlahos-Hall for helping to organize the event.
Several middle students from Jefferson traveled to YSU in order to participate in a mega math day. Students joined others from several other districts to participate in various math activities. Our students did a wonderful job representing the ‘J’.
Parent teacher conferences are happening at Jefferson Tuesday, November 12th from 4:15-8:15PM. Please contact the main office with any questions or to schedule a conference for your student.

Jefferson continued its tradition of pumpkin carving with kindergarten students and families. Thank you to all the families that came out to participate in this fun morning. A special thank you to the student council members who volunteered their time to help.
Thank you to everyone that came out for Jefferson’s first Chuck E. Cheese fundraiser. Families and staff had a wonderful time together. Proceeds raised during the evening will go directly back to Jefferson.
There are no classes for Warren City School students on Tuesday, November 5 due to a waiver day. Students will return Wednesday, November 6.
