Middle school Jefferson students recently participated in a Mega Math Day at YSU. Students got to participate in various math activities and meet students from numerous other schools.
Jefferson hosted its annual Trunk or Treat event recently for our students and community in collaboration with Second Baptist Church led by Pastor Todd. Families from the community enjoyed time to trick or treat, visit with the Harding Robotics Team, as well as see our transportation department. Thank you to everyone from Second Baptist and our community that helped make this another great year for this event. Also, a special thank you to Mrs. Vlahos-Hall who led organizing the event.
Jefferson continued its yearly tradition of having guests visit the school and carve pumpkins with our kindergarten students. We also had some older siblings, student council, as well as staff members help. Students were able to take their pumpkins home at the end of the day.
Jefferson preschool students got a special visit from Warren Fire Department members. Students learned about fire safety, got to see a fireman in his full safety gear, and also got to see a fire truck up close.
Mr. Fowley, board member for Warren City Schools, took time out of his day to read several stories to third grade classes at Jefferson. Students had a wonderful time listening to the books. We are very grateful that Mr. Fowley took time out of his day to spend time with our students.

Families were invited to join their fourth grade student with a family day here at Jefferson. Students showed off their math skills with various games and activities. Thank you to all the guests that took time out of their day to support our students.
Students at Jefferson were rewarded for focusing on accountability during the school day for the past couple of weeks. Students enjoyed bingo as well as some free gym time. Great job to everyone that earned enough points to participate.
Jefferson students got to perform at the Harding Band Night as part of their mini-majorette program. The students practiced with the high school majorettes at rehearsals prior to the event. Our students had a lot of fun and did a great job representing Jefferson!
Preschoolers at Jefferson had a celebration in their classroom by inviting some very special grandparents. Visitors got to see many of the activities that the students do each day and even got to play in some of the centers. Thank you to all of the special guests that took time out of their day to visit.
