6th Grade Science Fair

Sixth grade students at Jefferson participated in a science fair recently. Students completed research on their chosen topic and then created a board to show their data. Families and other classes were able to come and listen to the students explain their projects and the show their data. Thank you to all the families that came out to support their student.

Petting Zoo Visits Jefferson

Our Preschool and Kindergarten students had a chance to visit a traveling petting zoo at Jefferson recently. Students groups got to see, pet, and even feed some of the baby goats, rabbits, alpacas, sheep, and calves.

First Grade Musical

Recently, our first grade classes performed the musical Ei-Ei-Oops! Students were led by Ms. Komsa, Ms. Vlad, and Miss Richter. The students did an amazing job and all their hard work and practice was evident in their wonderful performance. Thank you to all the parents that came out to support their student.

BOGO Book Fair at Jefferson

The Jefferson library will be having its annual ‘Buy One Get One Free’ book fair the week of May 9-13. The ‘buy one get one free’ applies to books, posters, as well as school supplies. Kindergarten Celebrates Earth Day

Kindergarten classes at Jefferson celebrated Earth day by learning about the holiday and lending a helping hand around our school. They walked the grounds of the school helping to clean up litter using their grabbing tools.

Preschool Hatches Baby Chicks

Our Jefferson preschool classes recently added some new fluffy friends to their classroom! Students have housed eggs for the last few weeks and have waited patiently for them to hatch, observing and learning about eggs and chickens.

Helpful Band Members

Eighth grade band students have had the opportunity to tutor sixth grade band members recently during the school day. A large number of the band was able to listen to the older students experiences and receive one on one help with their instruments.
