Conferences are being held on Tuesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 17th from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. Teachers will be reviewing Reading Improvement Plans (K-3), grades, and NWEA Map scores. Parents should be ready to ask questions about what the NWEA Maps scores tell about your student as a learner and ways to support learning at home. To schedule a conference with your child’s teacher complete the form that was sent home or call Ms. Stacey at 330-675-6963.

Book Fair at Jefferson
Our book fair returns to Jefferson November 14-18. We will be open in the library during school hours as well as during parent teacher conference times. All profits benefit our Jefferson library towards new books for our students.

Men of Distinction
The Men of Distinction program returns to Jefferson. Mentors from the community work with middle school students as a positive role model. Recently, the men and students had a meet and greet to get to know each other. Thank you to the wonderful men in our community who have volunteered their time for this uplifting program we have here at Jefferson.







Carving Pumpkins with Kindergarten
Kindergarten students at Jefferson continued our tradition of carving pumpkins with a helper. Students had guests come from home, student council members, members of the board office, as well as their teachers help them carve their pumpkins. At the end of the day students were able to take their pumpkins home. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success.































Trunk or Treat
Jefferson hosted their annual trunk or treat, recently. Families from the community enjoyed candy, concessions, a visit from the Warren Fire Department, area therapy dogs, the Harding Robotics Club, Warren City bus drivers, as well as area church members volunteering their time. Over 1,200 people enjoyed the event.


























Eighth Grade Band Members Perform at Football Game
Eighth grade band members from Jefferson had a chance to perform with the Harding Marching Band at a home game, recently. Students learned the fight song, alma mater, as well as other stand tunes during their band class with Ms. Komsa. This yearly event gives eighth grade band members a chance to experience the fun and comradery of marching band first-hand. Great job, band!





Trunk or Treat Coming to the ‘J’
Please join us here the Jefferson for our Trunk or Treat event on Thursday October 27th from 5:30-7:00PM. Not only will there be candy passed out to children, we will also have food trucks, music, prizes, and more family fun. Picture Day Monday, October 17th
Jefferson picture day is Monday, October 17th. If you would like to purchase pictures for your child, please be sure the order form and money is turned in at the time of pictures.
No School Friday, October 14th
There are no classes for Warren City School students on Friday, October 14th due to NEOEA day. Classes will resume on Monday, October 17th.
Tailgate Party
Students enjoyed a tailgate party recently at Jefferson as a reward for all their hard work, good attendance, and great behavior while at school. Students earned points throughout the month of September and were able to enjoy games, food, music, and time to visit with their friends.
