Our Preschool and Kindergarten students had a chance to visit a traveling petting zoo at Jefferson recently. Students groups got to see, pet, and even feed some of the baby goats, rabbits, alpacas, sheep, and calves.
Recently, our first grade classes performed the musical Ei-Ei-Oops! Students were led by Ms. Komsa, Ms. Vlad, and Miss Richter. The students did an amazing job and all their hard work and practice was evident in their wonderful performance. Thank you to all the parents that came out to support their student.

Kindergarten classes at Jefferson celebrated Earth day by learning about the holiday and lending a helping hand around our school. They walked the grounds of the school helping to clean up litter using their grabbing tools.
Students in our 21st Century afterschool program recently went Echo Lanes to bowl. Students earned this trip for showing positive leadership skills and academic achievement.
Our Jefferson preschool classes recently added some new fluffy friends to their classroom! Students have housed eggs for the last few weeks and have waited patiently for them to hatch, observing and learning about eggs and chickens.
Eighth grade band students have had the opportunity to tutor sixth grade band members recently during the school day. A large number of the band was able to listen to the older students experiences and receive one on one help with their instruments.
