On Friday, April 19, 2024 WGH students who are taking the course Evolution of Music took an education field trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland accompanied by Mr. Ensley, Mr. Whitacre, and Mr. Rising. This trip provided the opportunity for students to enrich their understanding of the history of rock and roll by offering a holistic and immersive learning experience that went beyond what can be covered in the traditional classroom setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through this experience, students were able to make real-world connections to the content taught in course. Students analyzed artifacts, exhibits, and multimedia presentations to identify and reflect on key moments, artists, and movements in the history of rock and roll and music as a larger discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
