The student section has been growing this year and it is all thanks to the Spirit club! The club is based on school spirit and hyping up our team. The student section looks amazing with everyone on theme and shouting chants; they are the heart of the school spirit! What some students are unaware of, however, are the rules and requirements of the student section, whether they are in the club or not. These rules include seniors having priority to the rail; if there is room, juniors are welcome. There is NO drama in the student section; all grades are welcome in the student section (the yellow painted area), and last, but not least, all students are required to BE LOUD! When the student section is loud the team gets hyped and that is the whole point. Additionally, the spirit club asks if you are sitting there complaining about the noise or people standing, that you please leave the section, the negativity is not appreciated. Many underclassmen were not happy about the rules and how seniors have the right to stand on the rail, but they must understand that this has always been a rule, it is<\/a> tradition. From a senior’s perspective, we have put a ton of work into the student section like organizing the club, finding flag runners, making posters, and gathering more<\/a> students, so we would appreciate it if everyone followed the rules. Remember to come support and have fun! GO RAIDERS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
