As pat of the Sandy Hook Promise students will be participating in a week long celebration of Kindness, Connection, Inclusion, Empathy and Belonging. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students will participate in daily activities that will help them explore simple acts that can make a HUGE difference in the lives of many. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Sandy Hook Promise is a national nonprofit organization founded and led by several family members whose loved ones were killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School on December 14, 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Based in Newtown, Connecticut, our intent is to honor all victims of gun violence by turning our tragedy into a moment of transformation. By empowering youth to \u201cknow the signs,\u201d we can unite everyone who values protecting children. Together, we can take action in schools, homes, and communities. This will help prevent gun violence and stop the tragic loss of life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
